I am trying to start a biodiesel production facility in the Massachusetts area and am looking for a supplier of Yellow Grease (used vegetable oil, etc.). Anyone with information please let me know. We are very interested in make a mutually beneficial agreement with whoever is interested in doing business with us.
Energos Biofuels will be based in Gilbert, Arizona. We are a new company and set to open our doors in July, 2008. Our primary focus is yellow grease collection and sales. ^We currently do not make or sell any biodiesel.
EB will currently only be selling to those within Arizona. Once we are able to meet local demand and have a surplus of wvo, then we will be happy to work with those outside of Arizona. However we are limiting our sales to the United States. No over-seas sales.
Currently we do not have any wvo to sell, but should have some in mid July (about 5000 gallons). We will only be selling a filtered version of wvo to start(filtered to 150 microns). We will then be selling filtered & dewatered version of wvo (filtered to 5 microns & dewatered to 100 ppm) in about 30-60 days. We are unsure of the FFA count in the wvo and plan on testing it as soon as we can. We will offer several kinds of wvo and wvo blends.
Energos Biofuels (EB) is starting a yellow grease collection business in Phoenix, Arizona, on August 1st, 2008. EB has made connections and have an existing customer base ready to switch to us. EB is expected to pick up at a minimum of 5,000-10,000 gallons by the end of August. Then will plan on 10,000 gallons monthly minimum and will continue to increase our supply each month. In the 1st 60-90 days EB will have unfiltered wvo only. After that EB should have filtered and de-watered wvo. To get exacted #’s on the filtered & de-watered oil, EB will have to have it tested. EB will be filtering it several times down to 5 microns and 100 ppm of water. You will have the option to purchase filtered or unfiltered wvo.
Seeking suppliers of UCO/yellow grease with proximity to East Coast USA. We are exporting product to Europe for biodiesel production. We can work ExWorks term, picking product up at your facility. Product needs to be loaded in flexitank, about 44,000 pounds per tank (20 Metric tonnes) and we can take up to 500MT per month. We are also seeking suppliers in California, for up to 5 MGPY to supply new biodiesel plant.
Yellow Grease is a non-food grade mixture of used vegetable and used animal oils sold by rendering companies to feed lots for cattle food. Does anyone have any experience running this grade of fuel in a converted diesel?
