This is a 1985 Mercedes 300 Turbo Diesel. It has been converted to run on waste vegetable oil (WVO). The car is in phenomenal shape for a 1985 Mercedes. $5900 OBO

I also installed a new upgraded radio about 6 months ago. It's amazing! It has AM/FM, CD, Aux input and an ipod cable in the dashboard. The cable allows you to control your ipod through the radio so you don't have to pull it out of the glove compartment. It also charges the ipod while it's plugged in. Right now I also have a Sirius radio in the car that goes through the Aux input.

The interior is all leather and in great shape for a 1985. There are 2 small tears that aren't spreading.

I am only the second owner of this car and have taken very good care of it. Compared to most other cars out there that are this old, it's in great shape.

Over the past 2 1/2 years I've done some major repairs to keep it in great shape. If you are really interested I can give you a complete list of repairs. The tires are less than a year old. All work has been done my a mechanic who specializes in working on old Mercedes.

As for the WVO conversion. This is a Love Craft conversion kit. It's been great during the past 2 + years. If you are truly interested I can tell you why I chose a Love Craft kit over a Greasecar kit. This is my second WVO vehicle, so it was a researched decision and I've been very happy with the Love Craft kit. Greasecar has two separate tanks, but this Love Craft uses a single tank. The WVO goes right into the regular fuel tank. You can mix diesel and WVO. Any ratio works. I get my oil from a local pizza place for free and filter in my backyard. I'm willing to share my filtering secrets with the person who buys the car and even pass on any leftover equipment/oil I have at that point.

I bought BRAND NEW tires at the end of November, and replaced the fuel pump a few months before.

But the real benefit is the extra 100 gallon fuel tank.
Has a dashboard switch to change form main tank to auxiliary and an in-cab fuel gauge.
Contains its own fuel pump & filter.
Has 50 gallon "clean" section and 50 gallon "dirty", so you can collect and filter on the go. Great for road trips.

111,000 miles.
Lamar camper top.
Pioneer stereo with CD player and ipod connection.
AC adapter for powering laptops and cellphones inside cab.
Braking kit for towing trailers.
Recently had oil changed and transmission lines flushed.
New windshield wipers.
Interior and exterior were just professionally cleaned.
Scheduled maintenance and oil changes.

Runs on diesel and veggie oil (WVO). It is currently installed with the Trekker System from Golden Fuel Systems. This is the most advanced veggie system out there, and specially designed for road trips or extensive daily driving. This kit alone costs $4,800. With both 40-gallon tanks full, one can travel more than 1,000 miles. Switches installed inside of cab near steering wheel.

This is an excellent truck that has many, many years ahead of it. It runs like a charm.
Kelly Blue Book's fair condition price for this truck is $16,440. I'm pricing this to move, therefore I'm barely charging for the WVO system.

Family of three wanting to purchase reliable wvo vehicle to travel the pan american highway from Denver, CO to Costa Rica. Looking for affordable vehicle that is already converted. I am new to all of this so I am curious to good resources. I found wvo classifieds on greasecar.com, any other great sites? Anything that I soould consider before buying a used wvo vehicle?

I have a Winnebego Le Sharo and am in the process of converting it to run n used veggie oil. I am following the Greasenotgas.com conversion as much as possible. I am having a oil tank made to fit in the back. The only question I have is about inlet and outlet sizes and if there are standards. What would you suggest? I plan on mounting two prefilter boxes to the outside to go in (which means I'll need two inlet holes I believe) then from there into a fuel filter. What filter has worked well for large conversions and what inlet size should I try to match up? I am thinking this depends on my filter but I want to check.
