Free used cooking oil can be used but we suggest that it is well filtered down to 1 micron as it may contain salts which can contribute to engine wear and small food particles which could possibly block fuel lines or the injector pump.

On two tank conversions an additional tank is fitted where suitable , mostly in the boot, or wheel arch of a van although any suitable place would suffice. We supply quality durable tanks ranging in size and shape. The most popular way to convert and incidentally the cheapest is by using a small 22 litre tank for start-up diesel and utilise the vehicles existing tank for vegetable oil, this way you get the same range as before and hardly any loss of space. You will get many start-ups from 22 litres."
