AS SEEN ON TV! 2001 VW Jetta TDI Diesel Greasecar WVO

Check out my auction at ebay.com! Item # 120485151973

AS SEEN ON TV! You are bidding on on one of the most famous alternative fuel vehicles since Doc Brown's DeLorean from Back to the Future!

Featured on Good Morning America, CNBC, MSNBC, and Wall Street Journal Report, this 2001 VW Jetta TDI has been evangelizing the use of alternative fuels for years.

Beat high gas prices and DRIVE FOR FREE using waste vegetable oil! Professionally converted by Smarter Fuel using the Greasecar kit, the WVO system works perfectly.

This vehicle starts every time and runs very well. I installed a FrostHeater brand block heater for easy cold weather starts. Just plug it in (I set it on a timer) and the engine turns over immediately. It also enables you to make the switch to veggie oil sooner and helps you get heat inside the car much quicker.

As the pictures show, the car is very clean for a vehicle with almost 158,000 miles and has no major issues. I drove this car over 100 miles a day for years. The turbocharger was replaced with an OEM unit at 144,000 miles. The starter was replaced at 137,000 and the glow plug relay at 121,000.

VW diesels are legendary for going forever, and this car is still going strong. But obviously a car with with high mileage like this is going to have a few blemishes, and I've tried to capture them in the pictures. You probably won't notice them while you're DRIVING FOR FREE on used vegetable oil! The clearcoat has peeled off the tops of the mirrors. The headlight lenses are a bit cloudy. The chrome cap on one of the headlights has popped off and is laying inside the headlight housing. There are a few scuffs and scratches and a small rust spot on the edge of one wheel-well. The lid on the center armrest is detached, but I have a replacement unit. It just needs to be installed. Did I mention you can DRIVE FOR FREE on used vegetable oil?

How do i convert my 69 VW bus from an aircooled engine to a diesel engine?

Does any one know exactyl what it takes to do the diesel conversion from an air cooled engine? I eventually want to convert the diesel to run veggie oil, but thats the next step. I think i need a radiator and will have to custom weld the engine mounts. But wil the radiator fit? and what engine would be the best fit and be the best for power?

02 VW Golf TDI Greasecar WVO

I have a 2002 black vw golf TDI 2 dr 5 speed with 95000 miles on it for sale. This car has been converted to run on veggie oil (SVO, WVO) using the greasecar system. This means that you can collect use oil from restaraunts, filter it, and run your car for free. The car is in excellent condition mechanically. I recntly have replaced the glow plugs, brakes, shocks, oxygen sensor, tire rods and I change the oil every 3000 miles using full synthetic oil. Average mpg is 43-50. The grease car system works great especially in the warmer months. I have a computer installed that allows the driver to switch to and from diesel and veggie oil at a push of a button. The computer also gives an array of temperatures and fuel levels and automatically flushes the system when you reach your destination. There is also a zerostart block heater installed. The car runs great and has a lot of power. $14,000 OBO. All offers considered.

Fuel Tank Selector Valve with Viton seal 12 volt and 24 volt

Did your old plastic Pollak fuel tank selector valve stop working, i.e., leaking, sticking--the plastic gears stripping?

It may be time to upgrade your WVO/SVO or biodiesel tank valve!

http://i199.photobucket.com/albums/aa230/omarsales/valv...

We have been running road tests on this aluminum bodied, 3-port WVO/SVO 12-Volt Fuel Tank Selector Valve with Viton seal. It has 12-mm ports with 1/2 inch NPT threads--it even has a small red light that tells you when you have switched to WVO! We have run this valve in VW's, Mercedes', and a Ford F250 with a 6.9 with good results.

Other details a few of you may want to know:

Max operating pressure: 1 MPa (10 bar) = 145 psi

It will take two 3-port valves to replace one 6-port valve.

This auction is for one (1) 3-port, 12-volt fuel tank selector valve.

If you want to buy two or more valves we will combine shipping

we have them in 24 volt also

How I Taught My Diesel To Drink Veggie Oil and Love It

"While my VW TDI is the best vehicle I have ever owned, I despise the fact that it requires fossil fuel that pollutes the environment and increases our need to maintain unsavory relationships with foreign governments. I look forward to the day that I drive an electric car (solar charged, of course), but for now, my transportation choices are limited.

That's why last Sunday, against what most folks would say was sane reasoning, I stood in front of my beloved 2001 Golf and cut the fuel lines in half.

And I did it with a smile on my face.

GreaseCar WVO Kit on 2000 Jetta TDI

"First n foremost, please realize I am no Waist Vegetable Oil Guru by any stretch of the facts. Perhaps I have gone thru some additional trouble n expense to monitor the vital temperatures on my Diesle/WVO conversion project that has taught me a few things and that are both interesting and useful to others."

2001+ VW TDI on WVO

I'm hoping to get a 2001+ VW TDI jetta and turn it into a WVO vehicle. Would the kit from www.frostheater.com work? This is my first day looking into the WVO conversion, so I'm a bit confused on where to start reading.

2003 VW Jetta SVO (Straight Vegetable Oil)

"The Norton boys recently had a 2003 Volkswagen Jetta TDi converted to run on SVO. Though Tom’s the primary driver, Chuck was happy to hand over the keys to their “Vega Jet” for a spin last week and helped us understand what it’s like to own and operate a vehicle that eats out of a dumpster. Let us explain…"

WVO Conversion for the Lazy and Cheap

I'm trying to find the easiest guide to converting a Jetta TDI engine to run on WVO, filtered and all.

I don't have a lot of money, am kind of lazy (meaning it should not require a lot of motivation), but I do have some ability to use a wrench and connect pieces of metal, rubber, plastic and all that.

I don't have any expensive tools, either.

Has anyone run across a guide or howto that is super simple for a VW TDI? If so, I'll send you a lot of happy faces. :) --> :D
