Restaurant Used Vegetable oil Pickup FREE
We recycle used vegetable oil and pick up on schedule for free, for the restaurant industry. We are servicing several restaurants just like yours and the establishments are thrilled with the ease and savings we make possible. If your establishment is currently paying for this service, please consider giving me a call or sending me an email regarding the FREE PICKUP of your used oil. Your restaurant can provide high quality oil to be used in our certified recycling process for the manufacture of raw materials to be used to make soap, fuel oil, lotions. We recycle 100% of the materials, so you will feel good about contributing to the health of our planet, while helping out small businesses in your community.
We supply clean containers and pick up twice a week on your schedule. If you are tired of carrying the oil to a container, just leave it on the step and we pick it up.
Free Grease in Greenwich, RI
Hello SVO drivers,
Following is an email call and response to someone looking to get rid of their vegoil. If any of you live in the Greenwich, RI area; give Kate a call for free grease!! (401 885 8100)
Hi Kate,
100th Grease Monkey is not a rendering company; we are an organization that connects individual veggie voyagers with restaurants willing to part with grease. I will post your location on the vegetable oil forums; if there is a veggie voyager around, they'll contact you for pickup. Thanks so much!!
Mike

> comments: I am running short on time and am trying to figure out if you all remove the oil from the premises. I believe I have seen your truck outside a fellow fish market but I could be wrong, of course! Feel free to email back or call our store at 401-885-8100. I really need to find a renderer and simply can not locate a company who does this. Thanks for reading! Kate
Veg Oil in Orlando
Just wanted to let anyone driving on SVO in Orlando know that they can get somewhere near 50 gallons at Golden Harvest on 1224 E Colonial Drive this and every week. The restaurant just registered on www.100thgreasemonkey.org and is willing to give away free grease!!
Are you the 100th Grease Monkey?
Hey Grease Monkeys!!
I have created a database for veggie vehicle friendly food institutions: www.100thgreasemonkey.org. The site allows restaurants to register themselves and download a form that tells them how to drain, strain, and store their oil for veggie voyager pickup (right from the fryolator through a 100 micron strainer into a covered barrel on wheels kept indoors to minimize larger sediment and keep water out of the oil). Then veggie voyagers may look them up by state or zip, call early to set up a pickup time, drop by, and fuel up. Thing is, the database is currently thin right now . . . so I am reaching out to the veggie-voyaging community to help populate it. The database is currently free to join and requires a little bit of work on the part of the restaurant, in that they will have to source the barrel (free from car washes, though the tops would have to be cut off) and purchase barrel rollers and a barrel strainer. This is where y'all come in: if you would like to be a 100th Grease Monkey rep and set up this system at restaurants in your area, you will be doing great service to the cause of a decentralized "back-door gas station" network of restaurants.
I Pump and Filter Your Oil - You Give Me Some?
What does everyone think about this deal.
Say you are a restaurant owner or heavy user of vegetable oil and you have a lot of waste oil to get rid of. Most people are beginning to realize that they can filter their own oil instead of paying to have it taken away.
Do you think a restaurant owner would let me (or anyone) filter their oil for them, and take a commission in oil for the service?
So say Joe Restaurant Owner has a 50 gallon tank of waste vegetable oil, but he doesn't want to filter it, but he has a diesel and would like to use it to drive or make a blow torch or something.
If I filtered it for him, and took half, am I being too greedy? Or is this a good deal?
Thanks for any sort of reply.
