I posted a couple forums already in reply to some people, but what I'd really like to find is if I can get anything, anything, to convert an old caddy with a V8 engine to grease. In any way. The car is cheap enough for me to splurge on a conversion kit, and I'm also willing to do something completely DIY. As long as I know how to do it. Like instructions or something. Honestly, I'm desperate, because I love old cars, and I hate gas, and I like the environment, so I need help.

How do I convert an existing oil hot water burner to grease?

We are looking for help and advice in converting a 1991 G30 Chevy van with a 6.2 liter diesel engine. We want to use waste vegetable oil for which we have a good source. We live near Albany NY. Is someone willing to share some knowledge and advice with us?

I have recently purchased an '03 Dodge Ram w/cummins for the purpose of using the fryer oil in my 2 restaurants as fuel. My question to the experts and experienced is this: with a limited budget, can I spend less on setting up a bio-diesel manufacturing system or would it be necassary to spend the 2 grand to do a conversion on my truck? I am not particularly mechanically inclined so I will need to pay sombody to do a conversion, I think I could piece together a filtration system. Also, anyone making your own bio-diesel, what do you estimate the cost per gallon to be with the additives? Thanks so much for your input! Dan
