better cold weather conversion

hi
any thoughts on which would be better to convert, either a ford, dodge, or chevy diesel to run on wvo. i live in the mountains of northern california and it gets very cold during the winter. any problems with any of these. any success in similar climates. any advice on a system (goldenfuelsystems, plantdrive, or vegepowered greasecar or any other system) any problems or success with one of these systems in very cold climates.ive been looking at the various websites and have even ordered a couple of dvds from some of them.ive done my own research but was wondering what other people thought. im leaning toward a f250 7.3 L with a goldenfuelsystems 2 tank conversion. any thoughts on that in a cold climate would be very helpful. thank you for your time and advice i appreciate it greatly.

Water in Oil Rusting Injector Pumps? How to De-water WVO?

I just paid $5,000.00 to have a new injector pump put on my 1994 Chevy with a 6.5L. I got it home and the next morning it would not start.

Advanced Diesel tells me I'm F****d because I run Veggie. They say that between the time the pump was installed to the time it would not start, about three weeks, the water in the veggie rusted the inside of the pump causing the malfunction.

They claim there is no way to remove the water from the oil, and they will not help unless I pay for a new pump ... Again.

How do you deal with this? The water I mean. Can you help?

good for conversion?

were looking at trucks these days, and came across a good running 87 Chevy custom delux 6.2
diesel. It seems like a solid truck but im not
sure if its a good canidate.
do you know any ups or downs to this vehicle?

1970 Chevy C20 6.2L Diesel about to be Converted

On October 22 my truck will be converted to VO by Evergreen Motors in Greenfield, Massachusetts. The diesel (an early 90's Mr Goodwrench) was installed and the truck upgraded from a 1/2 ton to a 3/4 ton truck by B & C Autobody in Fryeburg, Maine. It is a shortbed fleetside which was only made manufactured in the 1/2 ton version so this is a most unique truck in and of itself. I have owned it for 30 years and B&C has done an excellent job over the last 5 years of restoring the body and now the entire engine and drivetrain. The transmission is the only original part of that remaining. I already run 20% bio in the diesel which takes away all the diesel odor and greatly reduces the polution emissions. My wife and I plan to drive it cross country within the next few years so could have a travel log to contribute. Wyatt Wade

Anyone have experience converting work trucks?

I'd like to convert the trucks at work to run on WVO. Has anyone done this with a big truck? we're talking the chevy 3500, or something comparable. What about storing fuel on site? Has anyone had experience with storing fuel in a big tank on site? I'm just getting started with this and could use any tips you might have discovered in your own experience.
