What is the best way to make a homemade filter for filtering wvo? I don't want to have to buy expensive filters for the rest of my life, and I want to not have to go to the store specifically for filters.

I've heard that using old jeans was a good way to filter wvo for the big stuff, but does someone have an idea how to filter it down to the smaller microns, without having to support a huge manufacturing plant and all it's employees, just to get down the road? :)
