issues with using copper lines for WVO??

hi all,

doing my first WVO conversion,(83 diesel vanagon 1.6TD) and want to know if I can use copper tubing to run the WVO through... is there any issues of the oil reacting with copper?

thanks, Steve

Copper lines

When I started I soaked copper in a jar with my oil and had no reaction. About 1 year on the soak. I used the "red" copper like household use. An interesting thing did happen when I ran just a few onces of heating oil from an old tank through the copper. The fluid immediately turned white and indicated copper leaching out of the tubing into the fluid. That is bad to have the copper leach out because it reforms in the injectors. I have copper in my wvo system and have no problems with it. Don't use any home furnace heating oil!
