I would not run Waste vegetable oil in a 24 valve vp44 cummins. The injection pump is not the best design to start with, and the grease just makes things worse. Bio-diesel is the best rout, and you do not need any additives for it's use. Unless you wish to run it during the winter, then you will need anti gelling liquid. Of course if you run a heated tank, you can run the bio diesel during the winter without worry, just flush the line with dino diesel before you shut down. The cost per gallon for bio is about a dollar. The equipment can be had for less then a hundred dollars.
