Converting a SCHOOL BUS to WVO

Tags: links inline

I'm looking to pick up a school bus and convert it to Waste Vegetable Oil but I haven't been able to find much info on converting such a large engine or even if it can be done or not.

Any information on who could do the conversion for me, or kits, or weather it can even be done to such a large engine as the International T444, DT446, DT360, or equivalent would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks for your time.

buses

I converted 2 GMC buses with the 8.2L.

no real problem. buses are pretty easy to convert because of all the space under the hood. its not really any different that a vehicle, just bigger.

you will need a custom kit. the only real difference is the size of the fuel lines, tank and filter.

thats it
