Is a conversion recommened for a 2001 Ford Excursion with 7.3L Powerstroke. If so what are some major drawbacks and concerns with this wvo adaption?

EXCURSION 7.3 Which Kit?????????????

The best kit for that set-up would be DFA Vegistroke.Call and speak to Jason or James about the 37 gallon tank (it's not on the Website, too many pirates....ARRR. it measures 50x20x9 diamond plate pre-plumbed good to go.It's not cheap but if you are like me you want to protect your investment,This kit cost me $3,650 to my door.this will retain OEM tank for diesel.depending on trim you may have to move spare tire a few inches.Trust someone who only deals with what YOU have under the hood. This kit is fully automated and looks OEM bolted to frame holes already there.I did 2 years of research before buying a 2000 X 7.3 limited with 59000 miles and Vegistroked it.Also stay away from DP tuner with ECONOMY tune it will cost you a torque converter with its shorter shift patterns. That stock tranny is working hard enough,ITS RATED FOR 500FT/POUNDS OF TORQUE.you get that stock setting@1650 RPMS.HAPPY GREASER
