I am about to pick up a 97 f-250 with the 7.3L powerstroke engine. I've been doing a bit of reading about heating external tanks with a heat exchanger, but can't seem to find any info on heating using the stock factory tank. Basically I would prefer to use one of the two tanks for WVO but am unsure of how best to heat the product. I also have a lot of questions about filtering WVO 'on the fly'. Like pull up to a nasty grease pit, pour in the waste oil, and be on my merry way. Anyone know if this is possible?
The reason I ask is I'm planning on taking the truck on an extended trip through mexico and central america this winter. If I could process WVO as I head south it would save a ton of dough.
