Simple Tricore WVO Setup Explained
This may be the simplest and best design.
Scroll down on the page and you'll find an easy to understand explanation of a "tri-core" heating system. The blog entries are entitled:

Thanks for making it simple! :D
wiring diagram for VW TDI conversion
Very simple diagram. I've used this is a number of vehicles including a GMC school bus (8.2L), 5-6 VW TDIs, a volvo and john deere tractor.
Basic WVO Parts List
Let's create a generalized wvo part list for making a diesel engine run on vegetable oil. I'm no expert, but here's a few things I imagine are necessary:
Second Tank (used fuel tank?)
Inline filter (Goldenrod?)
Hoses (Viton?)
Switch for changing from diesel to wvo
Pump to pump oil from oil tank
What else is needed?
Mobile "Holy Grail" Centrifuge WVO Cleaning System
*No filtering necessary!*
"Mobile "Holy Grail" version of this rig:
I made a mobile unit out of this same rig, to use when I am travelling long distances so I don't have to carry hundreds of gallons of Veg. Oil. I run it with a little, quiet honda 2000watt generator, or plugin power if I am stopped where I have it. I mounted this same rig on a closed top barrel, and put a 3 way ball valve in the pipe from the CF output to the barrel, and switch it at shutdown into a small jar to capture any water and goo that comes out."

Great to have this - thanks very much!

300TD Wagon SVO Component Mounting Bracket and Conversion Recommendations
"We have received many emails as to why we don't offer a dual tank SVO conversion kit for a 123 300TD wagon. Installing an efficient and practical dual tank conversion in a wagon is challenging to say the least. The first big issue is the design and location of the factory fuel tank. It is located below the rear floor and is fairly narrow in height. To install a heated sump at the level of the tank outlet requires some very special component mounting brackets. The second issue is where to install the second tank. Putting a tank in the back of the wagon reduces hauling space and creates fuel smell and spill problems. Yes, even veggie can smell bad over time. Some have chosen to put a very small tank in the engine compartment for purging and startup, but you just end up having to fill it all the time."
Installing an Auxiliary Fuel Tank in Your Cargo Bed
"You can pick lots of good reasons [yeah like wvo!] for increasing the fuel capacity of your diesel pickup. With an extra tank in the bed, you can shop around for the best price on fuel, and load up for a really long haul. (In fact, you can extend your range so much that you'll probably need to stop for human fuel several times before your truck needs replenishing.)"
WVO Bag Filter Filtration System
"This is my most recent filtration system. It should cost around $75 with shipping."
Greasecar Build a WVO Filtration System
"The following are several filtration systems designed for various applications. A parts list for each is included but parts can be substituted using the guidelines laid out in the previous section in order to fit your specific needs and budget."
WVO Fuel Kit Parts List
"This kit can be home built with materials from your local auto parts and hardware store. All you need is an understanding of the system, some mechanical skill and a diesel vehicle."
