What this license means is that the web site maintainer is not the only beneficiary of the collaborative work that amounts to the Good Grease book.

When placed under the GFDL, documentation becomes property of the general public. You are free to copy, modify and redistribute the content in Good Grease, so long as what you redistribute maintains the same GFDL license.

If you are contributing to other sites, wikis, and bulletin board forums, please encourage their site maintainers to license their data under the GFDL, as it will both serve future generations to come as well as ensuring the preservation of the knowledge.
