value of the product is somewhat determined by the average specifications of the oil. Product with higher FFA and water or impurities content, debris, etc is worth less than "clean oil". Some UCO gets picked up and is in good shape, other oil has all kinds of junk in it. Hard to control and somewhat depends on where you collect from.

We might consider paying that price, but would really depend on the specification of the product (FFA M&I). We pay about that price back east for export to Europe. California seems to be a little cheaper on the UCO, but once some of these biodiesel plants get up and going, that will change as demand increases.

I am in Southern California. Irwindale area. Can anyone help with general info.

My research shows a 175.00 -400 year license.

What is everyone paying to have their grease picked up?

Are pickups paying to get the grease?

It looks like alot of people are willing to buy the grease straight or filtered.

I have plenty of storage for the barrels to put it into. And have made several initial contacts and I am estimating a 1000 gallons a week without even giving it a college try.

Is the market really that hungry for this rough product?

Ros, the bastards are going crazy here in the States as well.

Last year we could get 1 gallon of WVO on the East Coast for
about 25 cents, now we are lucky if we can get it for $2.00
and that is raw, unfiltered, with water and other shit floating
about in it. I wish that I could help out but....

Maybe you need to move to the States, at least the oil would be cheaper, and possibly a little easier to get...
