I have an opportunity for large-scale waste vegetable oil collectors on the East Coast of the US that are willing and able to take the first couple of steps in processing the oil they collect.
My client is buying large quantities of oil that has been processed by heating the oil and adding a flaked chemical that reduces FFA to 2% or below.
To perform the processing, a collector would need fairly large facility and the ability to store the processed oil and the waste product -- soap -- until the company that contracts for the processing hauls it away.
The firm contracting for this service is a large European company with a U.S. subsidiary. They will provide the chemical and ISO containers or flexitanks to store the processed oil and arrange for it to be picked up. They will also contract for removal of waste products.
The firm will buy your unprocessed oil at a penny and 1/2 below the Jake. The firm is willing to sign long-term contracts with companies willing to process their oil as described.
