converting a 1990 Jetta (non-turbo) to VO

Tags: links inline

I am wondering how expensive it would be to convrt a 90' Jetta (non turbo 1.6 )to V/O. I have been a professional Auto tech for 24 years so the installation would be no problem. I have heard that VW is one of the easiest to convert. How costly is it to convert?? Is it worth the time investment? Any infor would be greatly appreciated.

If you drive for more than 30 minutes each direction per day, it might be worth it. Otherwise, your car doesn't get hot enough to switch. I converted my 90 jetta w/ a greasecar kit and it was pretty easy. If you don't drive a lot I wouldn't bother unless you just want to do it for fun - like i did.
