Bodgy brothers oil filtering workshop

Rope between tree and post. Most of the oil has been sitting for between a month and three doing half the work for me, naturally settling and letting the fatty crud sink to the bottom.
Pollak valve
praccus posted a photo:
6 port valve to change between diesel and veg oil fuel tanks, bolted to firewall of engine bay.
3 electrical wires, as shown, unused, as no need in my case to run them to gauge sending units of each tank and overarching fuel guage. I don't need that much information and technicality all at once. 2 remaining wires piped to switch on front
dash.
Ports (rubber hose fuel lines).
Valve consists of Inlet and return port for each fuel line, as well as same for outlet port to the actual engine. In this case, 3 ports blocked off as this old truck has no return lines to standard fuel tank so no return lines persé, may think about a return line to veg oil tank in future in order to keep the veg oil tank warm with returning warm veg oil from engine, but we don't have such a big winter in Australia so no worries for the moment.
Yeah no worries mate!
It's all go!

We Do Chicken Right

This is Tony hooking me up with 30 gallons of waste veg oil from a
fast food restaurant. He harvest nearly 200 gallons a month and has
been running out of space. I usually harvest 30 gallons a month. The
equivalent cost of the grease that Tony gave me in diesel fuel is
$132 today.
Grease Work
mikeysklar posted a photo:
The grease car needed a few repairs yesterday to make itself road
worthy again. I swapped the primary diesel filter which helped
acceleration a great deal. I also put these little hub cap covers on.
The last mechanic that put on a new site of tires totally destroyed
the original covers costing me over $300 when a bearing got some dirt
in it. I also increased the purge timer on the grease system from 5
seconds to 45 seconds. I had been clogging my primary fuel filter
with my veggie oil because of short purge times.
RyanIsHungry & Asher

Today Wendy and I drove to Mimbres, NM with the RyanIsHungry crew.
They interviewed Asher Gelbart about his veggie oil life of WVO ad
biodiesel sales. Also about his goals of selling veg generated based
electricity back to the grid and algae production.
